Marg Delahunty rises again Mary Walsh’s new one-woman show Dancing With Rage.
A woman beginning to go blind finally starts to see. A mother who travels across the country to find her lost child, rediscovers the child she has always had. A little girl searching for her place in the world finds that she’s already there.
Dancing With Rage is Marg Delahunty’s story. Losing her sight, Marg decides she needs to track down the child she gave up for adoption after being knocked up at Expo. She packs up her rage, and her belongings (including her plastic sword), and sets off on her quest. Along the way, Marg summons the help of other classic Walsh characters including Dakey Dunn, Miss Eulalifrtrta Turpin, Mom Reardon, Connie Bloor and more. Together they navigate the rage brought on by pop culture, politics and capitalism.
Written and performed by Walsh, directed by CODCO alumni Andy Jones,
Dancing with Rage is fresh, exciting and up to the minute, incorporating current events into each show.
