GENERAL AUDITIONS AND INTERVIEWS

Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre will be conducting General Auditions and Interviews with Edmonton artists seeking to introduce, or better acquaintthemselves with our artistic team!
Heather Inglis and Jake Tkaczyk will be in attendance.
Edmonton-based actors, playwrights, directors, dramaturgs, designers, stage managers and other artists interested in supporting Workshop West’s mission and mandate are invited to submit for an audition and interview times.
We honour and celebrate local artists and their power to enrich and transform our community. we welcome artists of all ethnicities, nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, religious affiliations, and abilities. Workshop West’s auditions, rehearsal, and performance spaces are accessible.
Workshop West hires artists for its Mainstage Season, the Springboards Festival, workshops/readings, and the Writes of Passage Program which brings professional artists to schools to explore playwriting with Alberta students.
HOW TO SUBMIT…
Please send an electronic resume, photo, and short email describing your interest/background in new play development to auditions@workshopwest.org with the subject heading: WWPT General Auditions and Interviews 2025. Please let us know in the body of the email if you have any scheduling conflicts.

March 19: 3:30pm - 8:30pm
March 20: 11:30am -6:30pm
